Interview with Sebastiao Salgado

'It really takes a village'... This has been months in the making. It started with reconnecting with my friend Dzemil Hodzic from Sarajevo, who currently works with Al Jazeera in Doha. He introduced me to its environment editor, Nick Clarke, who in turn convinced Teresa Bo, AJ's exceptional Latin America correspondent, to fly from Buenos Aires to the remote village of Aimorés in Brazil. The purpose was to meet up, and interview Sebastião, his wife Lélia, and their son Juliano Salgado at their reforestation farm, Instituto Terra... The rest is history! 🙏🏼
